The Bard's Tales

Commissioned by Newark & Sherwood District Council, The Bard's Tales is a spectacular retelling of Shakespeare's stories. It toured in 2018 to great acclaim.

Storyteller George Bassett tells the folklore tales which inspires Shakespeare and a group of actors creates key scenes including Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night's Dream.
The show is suitable for indoor or outdoor performance and lasts for 90 minutes.
