Can-Do is about making short films of excellent quality. Throughout this year, we are running several short film courses in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire to inspire new and emerging film-makers to get creative and make film. We run a series of courses specifically designed to introduce beginners to low and no budget film making. These include:

Make A Movie in a Day
This day long course introduces participants to writing, shooting and editing film, including the opportunity to take on a filmic role of their choice such as directing, acting or sound/technician. Ideal for complete beginners and those who would like to meet and collaborate with other inspiring film-makers. |
2 Day iPad film-making course This intensive course involves a more in depth look at film-making through two days of workshops using iPads. During the course, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the fundamentals of film-making including film techniques and principles, composing and framing shots, sound, lighting and much, much more. Ideal for those who want a more thorough introduction to film-making as well as location based learning.
